Head Coach
Amy Way
Mrs. Way has been involved in the sport of swimming since 1997. Coach Way competed for the Flint YMCA Falcons from 1999-2004, qualifying YMCA Nationals in 2003 and 2004. Way (then Amy Williams) was a Class A state qualifier and broke school records in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 200 freestyle relay; all three records still stand today.
She continued her swimming career at Grand Valley State University from 2004-2007, where she specialized in sprint freestyle. During her career with the Lakers, she broke a GVSU record as a member of the women's 200 freestyle relay, a record that stood for 4 years.

Assistant Coach/Manager
Matt Holtz
Matt is a graduate of South Lake High School and is a invaluable part of our program. Matt swam for Coach Bunting during all four years of high school, and has continued to remain involved with both teams. Without Matt, we would be at a loss in terms of our computer and scoreboard. In addition to assisting at every practice, Matt runs the computer at all of our home meets, and also runs the pace clock during each practice. Matt is currently a student at Macomb Community College.
